Grosjean was very quick on the medium yesterday as well, may cause a stir in qualifying

Di Resta has been faster then him all weekend when on the same tyres.

They both to close, Di Resta seems to like tracks such as Silverstone, Canada, Interlaogs type tracks more where as the Hulk seemed stronger at most of the Asian tracks etc.

Button finally showing some pace on the options to back up his supreme pace on the primes. If only it remained dry all weekend, he'd be looking very good for pole and victory this weekend.

Force India are looking seriously competitive. They're looking very good to qualify well in the top ten should it remain dry.

Fuel loads could be different though.

Lotus must have mixed feelings right now - Räikkönen's engine issues and lack of practice time isn't good news, whereas Grosjean's P5 (not too common for Lotus to be high up in practice sessions) most certainly is. I'd definitely keep an eye out for Grosjean in qualifying, especially compared to Räikkönen knowing the difference of what happened in FP between the two, but also for pure speed.

Also, Force India are looking good pace-wise.

Doubtful that they run different fuel between team mates. Jenson has come to the party it seems

Hopefully a good show down between the two

Interesting session and this is because I was expecting Ferrari to be slightly quicker, but I think because of the air temperature dropping a bit has compromised performance. Honestly, the Ferrari works better in warmer conditions and they are better on the harder compound than the softer medium. It maybe fuel loads as well, who knows?

Mclaren and Red Bull are looking great and the Force Indias are as well. I would not be surprised because they have always performed well at Interlagos. I mean I think everyone remembers the performance Sutil put on last year. So, I think things are looking bad for Alonso. It has to rain if he wants a shot.

Agreed that Jenson looks surprisingly quick and I dont believe it is the fuel either. He was consistently 0.2 faster than Lewis all through FP3. All this translates into is more worry for Alonso, coz he surely has 4 cars now which are definitely faster than him and are on form and he needs to finish at least P3.

No, Jenson switched to the higher downforce rear wing like Lewis.

It's the practice engine that blew up, doesn't matter at all

Will be gutted for rain, the Mclaren is generally awful in the wet. Although it does have a sweet spot in those conditions, I can remember Lewis being fastest in Germany Q2, then it got slightly dryer and he was 2 seconds off the pace. Similar happened in Britain.

McLaren seems top notch in the dry, I agree. But since the last wet race was half a season ago, I wont bet on similar results in the wet. Who knows the McLaren might be even stronger than it is in the dry!!

Any idea which way Ferrari have gone with their setup on Fernando's car? His lack of competitiveness points to a wet setup. It's probably the way to go - Fernando isn't going to beat Vettel in the dry. He may as well go for the chance of rain.

Yep. Jenson moved towards Hamilton's downforce levels today and the improvement in the middle sector is noticeable, but he still seems to have the pace in S1+3. Perhaps he was gaining through the last corner and the Senna S.

Anyway, it's raining so McLaren are probably screwed now.

My nerves can't handle this. This is why I don't drive anymore. Altho being on the other side of the radio takes what happens out of your own hands. Ugh. I'm gonna barf.

Ferrari's Stefano Domenicali says shower forecast to be short, then dry period, then more rain. "A lottery, let's hope we draw right cards"

So we had 3 meaningless practice sessions that count for next to nothing coz it is raining now. To complicate matters, everyone must now not only guess the weather, but commit themselves to a setup they havent tried all weekend. Way to go formula 1, the pinnacle of motorsports.
