Not really any difference between wet / dry set up

So the rain has made all the work they've done in the past 3 FP sessions useless. The track is probably going back to its green state.

Plus, they have to decide what to do with their car setups.

Yes damn Formula 1 for not being able to accurately predict the weather...

So what happens if Alonso or Vettel seem stuck in Q1 or Q2 due to the weather and know they cannot make it unless the track dries and then go on to fake a "going off the track" and ask for the session to be red flagged - something that happened in real for Alonso at Britain this year? Are we in for a loooonnnngggggg qualy session or are we gonna see a wet qualy for real?

I am sure there is some, especially on this track with very long straights and a twisty sector 2. The amount of downforce you carry could make all the difference.

Dont think it's heavy enough for that yet - just enough to be a bit of an annoyance.

Wouldn't be surprised. Changing his rear wing to match Lewis's seemed to get the car into that sweet spot for him.

Teams, pundits, drivers have all said virtually no difference in wet/dry setup. Many teams already running max downforce pkg.

Kimi's car is fixed - will be out for the beginning of Q1. It wasnt the engine that was the cause - they lost oil pressure, which in turn killed the engine.

You think. I still remember the last few laps in 2008 and how I screamed endlessly in joy well past midnight out here that made me lose my voice and give me a sore throat for the next few days :)

Rain being a bit overhyped at the moment
Still a chance majority of the session will be ran on slicks

I'm not sure if he was refusing to answer or actually wanted to acknowledge Hamilton's driving

Driving wise, Porsches initially and then BMW's. Out of the cockpit- BMW's in all levels of club racing and Grand Am. Lola LMP1 and 2 in ALMS/LM.
