Wonder how many dissapointed A-man fans will start slamming the doors.

One this far...

It was pretty funny. I was thinking "where is he going? Is he retiring?" Nearly had to do a 3 point turn to get back on track

Kimi still managed to get 1 more point for Lotus in the last race.
Unfortunately, he needs to attend the Gala! ;)

Great comeback year for the Iceman.
Hopefully 2013 will be an even better year for Kimi & Lotus!

It looked like he needed to get a map out of the glove box :D

I want to see that move on Schumacher again though, his front wheel was almost interlocking with his car. Raikkonen seems to have unbelievable car control and spatial (if not navigational :) ) awareness.

IF !!! Ferrari had paid Kimi another year off F1, then Alonso would have been WDC.
Alonso lost his title to Kimi in Abu Dhabi.
Ahhhh...sweet taste of justice.
They just didnt paid enough.
Ferrari had the best car overall in the season imho, Lotus were behind 6 cars, still Kimi finished third.
Leave him alone. He knows what he is doing.

And your opinion is flawed. The Ferrari was never a consistently at the front, it had its peaks and troughs and I dont think there was ever a weekend where they dominated like some of the other cars.

Kimi reporting, that he had big troubles with visibility. That was the biggest reason for the poor pace.

Just watched the video of Räikkönen going outside the track. If I had seen it live I had been devastated, but right now it's just hilarious.

It was quite embarrasing with the off track excursions. Also provides entertainment does Kimi :)

He says he had terrible problems with his visor and visibility.
That he is happy with the season and he tried to rejoin through the other pit which was unforunately closed.

He knew that he took a risk while rejoining through the other pit ;)

amazing that he kept the car after that, and after first lap wide-run, and then 1 when he was fighting one of the toros.

100% race finish.. amazing achievement

omg what a race 8O and yes Kimi finished third in the WDC standings  His comeback was simply amazing 8) Great overtakings, his spatial awareness is awesome  Thank you, Lotus for bringing Kimi back into F1 and for giving him a quite decent car

I'm so proud of Kimi :proud:

Today's race wasn't his best of the season but let's say this race was quite chaotic and Lotus pace in the wet wasn't the best either. Loved his overtake on MS 8) and that excursion? Oh and he finished all the races (and in points too except one - China) great achievement :D

Whats your best memory of Kimi this year?

That pass on schumi in eau rouge, standing in the podium in abu dhabi, the pass on hulkenberg in germany?

For me its the eau rouge.

Kimi trying to go the wrong way was hilarious but I think it meant the very last lap of the whole season was the only one he didn't complete (he got lapped)

not a big deal I know but it would have been cool to complete every lap having had 2 years out

Was a long one. I read somewhere that it was 32seconds (the amount of time he was behind 10th) and that he was using a towel to clean his visor.

Lol didn't even notice that

This is the first race ever that I almost never pay attention to Kimi's times that much.

Career records from Wikipedia, only showing those that have improved or been added to this year. There may be a few errors as it isn't updated yet.
37 Fastest laps. Third on the list behind MSC, 77 and Prost, 41. Tenth is 21 and he is the only current driver in the list.
69 Podium finishes, 5th on the list. Tenth is 54, no current driver in the list except Alonso who is already ahead.
112 Races finished in the points. 7th
8th for total career points.
58 Races a race leader for at least one lap, joint 6th
Most classified finishes in a season. 20 this year.
4th for most consecutive points finishes, 17 so far. 24 is the record.

"It was a busy race and we didn’t have the pace we wanted all the time. There was certainly a lot going on. I went off at the last corner on lap fifty-two as I couldn’t see well with my visor being dirty and fogged up. Where I went off you can get back on the track by going through the support race pit lane, but you have to go through a gate. I know this as I did the same thing in 2001 and the gate was open that year. Somebody closed it this time. Next year I’ll make sure it’s open again."

Classic Kimi :]

I think what we witnessed in the last 4-5 races in terms of pace will be the same. No major changes next year

So Lotus will still be the 4th fastest car. Kimi will need to remain consistent and takes advantage of opportunities

his last non-classified was back in Germany GP 2009.

so that's 28 finishes on row. is that a record?

Kimi held on to third in WDC, but this means he has to travel to the awards. But what makes me feel better is that Kimi is still the last WDC for the red team.
