Oh yes, if anyone wants to know a bit more, there's a mention in his Top gear interview. The West shirt chap, is DC and it is Michael's doing what you see in that picture. Fridge was also pushed over by Michael. :D Good times!

http://www.autosport.com/gallery/photo.php/id/13468

It doesn't allow you to see them in all their splendour, but it is better than nothing.

No way is that DC in the West shirt, the trousers are way too loose-fitting. For DC it's either race overalls or tight jeans as far as trousers go, preferably tighty-whitey's.

In the Autosport gallery there's another pic showing half this guy's face - http://www.autosport.com/gallery/photo.php/id/13472 - Does anyone have a higher-res copy of this picture? It's always bugged me who it was.

Worse than that pic, at some point i couldn't see my sneakers (i was stupid enough not to have boots or safety shoes on)

Image Kimi knows. He was there too... :)

I'm taking the tracks on the 2012 calender and seeing what object the track shape looks similar to. My first one is Spa:

I plan to do all 19 other tracks in the future. Just got to find what the shapes are mimicking. More later though. :)

I may be wrong, but I think it's Pedro de la Rosa as I'm sure he was a test driver for McLaren that year. The half face does look similar to him too.

I checked the Wikipedia page for 2003 and only Alex Wurz is listed, but on de la Rosa's page he's down as joining McLaren in 2003 and he's listed for 2004 as a tester. My memory is a little vague at times, but I'm sure he was there in 2003.

That's not de la Rosa either.

Wel it isn't De La Rosa or DC. He looks a bit like James Blunt :?

No problems! It was an accident, actually. A friend of mine is a very well-known photographer (not sport) and he watched a couple of races with me and pointed out where there were great shots. I started copying pictures from the old thread and emailing them to him. I was reorganising my picture folders the other day and realised I had them and thought, "Oh WOW, this is awesome!". I've got a few more to post, which I'll do now.

Pleasure. And thanks to the people who put them in the original thread. There are some truly amazing pictures there. I just love the one with the photographers lying on the ground to catch take shots of the cars. And we think that the drivers are the ones risking their lives! And the shot of Schumi's crash at Abu Dhabi. Seeing it like that sends shivers down my spine.

Michael at a horsing event. This is not a promotional thing, that hat is worn by choice. Note what appear to be chaps.
