If it looks like that, then it looks amazing. The black at the bottom looks sick. Much better looking than the Mclaren and Lotus. And no stepped nose!!!!

Considering what the Ferrari of last year looked like, looking only at how good the car looks, Ferrari has improved the most. Is it fast? Who knows, but the Ferrari will be more enjoyable to watch no matter what.

so neither the mclaren nor the ferrari launch car sported the winglets and/or vanes on the sidepods the teams developed during the last season - you know, to aid airflow for the downwash-exhaust-setup ... the lotus launch car did have a vertical wing like last years mclaren but the car on the early press-shots didn't have it as well... looks like a high-potential upgrade area ;D

What's with the vertical slots at the back of the rear wing?

Very nice. I like the white line applied near to the bottom, it gives the car something special. Really nice design of the car.

Its the far side of the rear wing, its because of the angle.

If you look at the near side they seem to have 2 veins that go the full length of the car up!!

Gotta say the car looks good and I have a feeling this year will be even more closely contested.

I agree, beautiful.

Although, anything would look better than last year's nose!

Looks completely the same as F2012 besides its nose. C'mon Ferrari, you can do better than that! - And what is that black underneath? - Rubbish...

True, true. I think the back end looks amazing on it, and the white strip along the body really works well. Its nice to see Ferrari add some flair to the paint job again.

That's a good post other than the fact it's wrong. (Except the black bit cos that's down to taste)

Anyway, perhaps you need a trip to an optician if the nose is the only design change you can see.

Praising Alonso is hardly a surprise to be honest.

Well what did you exactly expect? Critisizing his team members?

Like for example ???

Sideposts: Double sideposts same since Singapore (Or rather Belgium, Massa tried them first)
Front Wing: Same as Brazil
Nose: Same inclination + the vanity panel
Front suspension: Same since Feb 2012
Nostrils: Changed a bit, I guess smaller radiator
Exhaust: Same as 2012 (modified Sauber solution)
Rear wing: Can't see anything changed, an extra couple of split winglets near the diffuser...

There is praise and then there is totally over the top IMO.

Notice how Massa was "Todts driver"

i guess they should've gone with a more monster-truck-like front-suspension based on your post...

engine cover and sidepods are different - much cleaner and leaner (lots of cooling openings and fins are gone), as are the exhausts...
rear-wing has a lot of new details and the nose-section looks very much like they tried to maximize the use of the vanity panel - pushing the boundaries of the rules as they stated at the end of 2012...

New noise,
New rear wing
New side pods
New engine cover
Different gearbox cooling
And we have no idea what's hidden underneath.
Couple that with the fact that teams never launch with all the secret tweaks because they want to keep them hidden as long as possible.

As for mentioning the front suspension being the same since last February, are you seriously complaining about that? What a joke. And although the type of suspension is the same, do you know that the geometry is identical?

Nicest looking of the reveals so far, I think they took a lot of stick due to how ugly their car was last year so they didn't want to make the same mistake twice.
