Has to be Alonso. Beating both RedBulls in the end.
Ricciardo ran good race but he did not have good start. Alonso managed to keep composure even after getting hit by Massa on the start line. Didnt even flinch. No reaction in cockpit. This was great race by him managing fuel and tyres to get podium.

Hamilton as expected ran away with it at the front. No surprise there. Clean air, no serious mistakes, dominant car. Victory was there for the taking. This is why Alonso gets my vote for DOTD.

Alonso, that Ferrari wasn't quite as fast as the Red Bull today. Great to see him back on the podium.

Hamilton and Ricciardo were excellent today but for third in that Ferrari my vote goes to Alonso

Alonso has been 1 second to 1,2 seconds faster than Kimi all the race...this is awesome...i understand that kimi is not confortable with the car,but the difference is HUGE

Alonso by a country mile as far as i'm concerned. Ricciardo did upstage his teammate again but i felt that he should've caught the Ferrari easily.

Alonso!

Also very good: Ricciardo, Bianchi, Hamilton, Grosjean, Hülkenberg

Disappointing:
Vettel
Räikkönen
McLaren

Alonso and Hamilton. As far as I could see, they were on the same strategies as their team mates, and completely destroyed them. Vettel and Ricciardo also did well, but their split strategies make it difficult to judge just how well they did.

Alonso at his best. Riccardo deserves praise for beating Vettel comfortably. Hamilton had a smooth weekend but he was only ever fighting Rosberg and that ended in the first corner. Not bad from the Hulk either.

i don't know how it can't be anyone other than alonso. made a very difficult 2 tire strategy work with a combination of shortpitting and a car that's very harsh on its tires. pipped both red bulls, 'punching above his weight class' as buxton described it. superb drive

Lewis and Alonso both doing what we know they can do there is no need to ever question the calibre of these two drivers they are truly the top two in F1 today regardless of the car they are driving.

Alonso is doing what he and Lewis have done the last few years ... Putting that car where it wouldn't be.

Lewis has finally got a car to match his talent and a team that gives him the support needed

Alonso was so far ahead of Raikonen in the same car.

Ricciardo after a bad start well behind Seb. Fought back and ended up 20 seconds ahead of him. Just incredible

Both drive an incredible race.

Hamilton was never challenged or even needed to push but proved once again why he is the best driver in Formula1

Alonso and Hamilton 50/50.

Honorable mention to Ricciardo, Rosberg, Hulkenberg and Kvyat.

Alonso, racing a car that is down on everything.... good job for him. Hamilton did not do a thing except drive, nothing spectacular about his about that.

Shame the FIA screws up even more.... but you know got to have rules for control of $$.

But didn't Hamilton finish first mostly because of the car?

Easily Alonso. Incredible performance. That Ferrari has no business being on a podium. And the gap to Kimi will be an eye opener for many.

Hamilton was better than Rosberg in every single way.
Williams were better than Force India this weekend so credit to Hulk for holding Bottas.
And Dan deserves a mention for having the upperhand on a 4-time champ yet again.

Same, not being a fan I've never really appreciated (or not wanted to admit maybe) just how good he is. He's making Kimi look very average.

Is Hamilton racing against anyone other than Rosberg?

Kimi was complaining of power issues at the start of the race. No doubt a great performance from Alonso but perhaps the gap to Kimi is smaller than shown here.

Maybe the gap is smaller. But I'm beginning to see a pattern emerge

Hamilton wasn't even racing today. Might as well be taking a bank holiday trip to the seaside.

I don't understand how anyone could vote for Hamilton as driver of the day. He basically cruised to a win without any pressure or issues.

He cruised to a win because he was much faster than his team mate in the same car. Pretty much the only time Rosberg made time up on him was when he backed off a lap early after being shown the flag too soon. If your only yardstick is your team mate, and you are beating them easily, while they themselves are crushing everyone else, there isn't much else you can do to impress.
