Driver of The Weekend 2017 - Japan

Cast your vote for the 2017 Japanese Grand Prix!

Rules & Format
Quote:
- Voting is based on driver performance (not who has the prettiest girlfriend/best haircut)
- Voting is based on performance of the whole race weekend, so qualifying counts towards your assessment.
- You only get one vote
- The poll will start on either on the day of the GP (or Monday if I am unable to for some reason)
- The poll will run until Friday so that it will always end before the next GP
- The top three voted for drivers will earn points towards a championship table as follows:
- 1st: 5 points
- 2nd: 3 points
- 3rd: 1 point
- Ties will be decided by finishing position

I'd give driver of the weekend to Hamilton and driver of the day to Max

Agree. Max lost his qualifying battle to Danny.

Yeah, I think I agree. Hard to go against Hamilton here as Max did lose out in Qualy.

I would have liked to have an option for Rosberg, who I thought was a great addition to the Sky team this weekend.

But I voted Hamilton for dominating qualifying and then managing his race, delivering the win despite having the hungriest driver with nothing to lose on his tail for the whole race (who was my top driver of the day)

Pole, win and one hand on the championship trophy. I'll pick Hamilton.

I'm tempted to go Alonso, good response from last weekend and he maxed his car but Lewis was faultless again so gets my vote. I think this is the best patch of form from Lewis I've seen, he's been top notch.

I think if he finishes off the season like this then it will be his best year, pipping 2012 for me.

Lewis for the great pole and for leading the race from start to finish despite continuous pressure from Max.

I've given it to Lewis for his epic quali performance. Nobody really stood out for me during the race.
