I found this very interesting, Newey talking about the Senna crash, the reasons and his feelings. I admire his honesty, I wouldn't have blamed him if he stopped at that point, glad he didn't as he has designed some classics.

I wonder if Newey & Senna had talked about it during the first three races that he's pushing the car too far and the package couldn't handle it.

I've read it before that he felt somewhat responsible, as a driver died in a car he designed.

Bentrovato makes a good point, but I wonder if Senna would have listened either way to someone telling him to slow down
