Top four absolute minimum, as a Macca fan. Anything else would be a failure.

And if RBR isn't 3rd, then even 4th could be considered a failure.

I personally think top 5 would be more than respectable for them. It would certainly be a massive improvement on the 2017 season.

I think people are expecting miracles with the new Renault PU. It's their first season using it and it was a late switch. I'm optimistic for this season but I'm not expecting much.

I just hope it'll be enough to convince Alonso to stay. I'd love to see him on the top step of the podium but it won't be happening this season.

McLaren are a top team, with extensive resources. If they don’t at least match Red Bull with the same PU I think they will consider it a bad year. For a company with their pedigree they need to be top of the Renault teams. Otherwise the switch from Honda will have been for notjing
