The Honda engine appears to work!!

Also, little aero-wing on the halo.

... the Halo looks particularly bulbous and awful in that photo. :(

The Honda PU still sounds the same... Not good.

Honda will definitely get it right at some point.

I guess it all depends on how long will they wait for them.

I know there were a lot of talks last year about this. An obviously different sound from the rest is good news, if your engine is delivering better than other engines. At the same time it is bad news if it's not. :)

Well, I thought it sounded the best engine ever since 2015! I love that deep burble when the drivers lift off to brake at the corners. And in general, I do prefer the fact it is deeper sounding than all the rest.

So I am pretty sure the Toro Rosso will be my favourite sounding car this year.

Ditto!

The gnarly Grrrroooowl of the Honda is nothing short of sensational!!!
I love the sharp sputtering.

The off-throttle growl is still there. Scroll down to the video.

Anyone else looking forward to seeing how Toro Rosso Honda are going to fare this season?

If only from a morbid curiosity standpoint.

Very interested, if Honda come good they get the Red Bull deal for next year which is an exciting prospect.

Ted floated a rumour yesterday though that Honda have actually got through a lot of engines this winter, a few people in the paddock think that Honda are pretty much putting in a new engine every day. I suppose all will become clear in Melbourne.

Ted didn't say they were rumours, he just said that TR told him they have used 3 engines, but they weren't forced to, they are just cycling through the engine as they planned and there is nothing wrong with them,, Ted then mentions, don't read too much into the 3 engines...

I'm unsure about yesterday's notebook (day 3) as I haven't seen it yet, but in day 2 he said what I wrote in my post, that there were rumors in the paddock that Honda had got through a lot of engines.

Around the 20:00 mark.

Thanks for the video. I also saw the next video as well where they confirmed they used 3 for test1 and using 1 for test2. According to the interview engine is reliable and that was their priority
