I thought
this news article on Motorsport.com was particularly interesting.
Max Verstappen claims the Renault engine is "the slowest out there". Considering the data Red Bull must have gained from Toro Rosso, one could read into this that Red Bull racing seem to think that Honda has already surpassed Renault when it comes to performance.
On the other hand he might just be refering to the top speed, but it is an interesting quote nonetheless.
Typical Verstappen attitude, but the guy does have reason to be livid after another engine issue. Battle of the engines in F1 is one the things I look forward to in F1 but in the same regard when a manufacturer supporting serval teams falls behind the sport loses a bit of its shine. By that I mean we have top tier drivers just driving fast but not racing. Or not driving at all because of faulty equipment. Yes, it is a part of Motorsports but the sport does suffer because of it.
