I'm still hoping Kimi can fight himself back into the points! Not bothered who wins the WDC, both are deserving

Lap 64- P11 , 30 sec behind P10, Hope still!

I didn't think he could catch anybody anymore, but with these conditions somebody could spin out :D

Hoping for points because, well never give up :D (and it would continue his point scoring streak)

DiResta is out and Kimi in the points. There we have it!

Gosh, what a horrible race.

Kimi's excursion to the old parts of the track was awesome though.

If somebody could get their hands on Kimi's overtake on Schumi and his excursion videos and post them here. Would be great!

Epic race indeed, certainly not the best of Kimi's, but an awesome season as a whole. 3rd on the WDC... i would have been mad to suggest result like that at the start of the season.

The only thing that went right for Kimi today was the pass on Schumi - that was simply brilliant from both of them.

Other than that, the excursion to the old track sums the entire weekend up. Good thing about continuing the point streak, shame about missing out on 100% completed laps because of the 20 metres lost to Button.

---

But forget the race. It's been a comeback season that has been nothing short of awesome, and I would never in my wildest dreams have expected Räikkönen to get so many podiums and a race victory before the season. And 3rd in the WDC.

What do I do now? The season is over. Only F1 action is racing in my online league for the next few months :D

I remember at the start of the season lurking on this thread, everybody was more than content with p5 in the standings at that time, P3 is magnificent!

What I can say - Kimi had a fantastic season after two years out of sport. 3rd in WDC and STILL The Last WDC for Ferrari!

nice entertainment for us driving 'other' roads :)

The Ferrari reaction will be interesting. Wonder when they start discussing motivation...

Well it was good from kimi to show us that old track at interlagos...but man, what a ballsy move on schumi... only drivers like them can get out of that unscathed... i expected a not so good race for kimi especially if it rains... i'm not disappointed in any way but feeling pretty happy about the entire season

it was amazing how kimi slammed on the brakes and went clear off the track to avoid being the one to take out the WDC contender at the start.
that was so so so close
his spatial sense and awareness of his car ...just too good.

The last WDC for ferrari was an unmotivated, ice-cream eating, partying finnish racing driver who did not fit in with the team despite 1 drivers and 2 constructors championships.

May the above stay that way for another 10 years.

I hope that move outside the track comes up on YouTube soon, because I missed it live. Sounds like tragicomedy to me.

That was very spectacular and somehow wise driving by Kimi.

Kimi is silent hero of this season. He had superb comeback. I hope next year Lotus (or whatever name they will use) will deliver at least as good car as this year. I'm looking forward for next season. Thank you Kimi!
