Pretty self-explanatory: how many points do you think Lewis will win the WDC by? Or, if you're one of those weird people who think he's going to lose it, you can choose that. It's a free internet.

Whoever gets it right can feel free to give themselves an eCookie, but mostly I'm curious how the general sentiment is about the rest of the season. I personally expect Hamilton to run away with it from here on, but as I've learned recently from another forumite, not everyone agrees.

So what's it going to be when the donuts are done in Abu Dhabi?

I'm predicting something in the mid 70s, personally. After qualifying in Japan, I think it's safe to say he'll extend his lead by about 13 points tomorrow. After that, I predict a Hamilton win at COTA and Abu Dhabi (probably Bottas follows him home in Abu Dhabi, not in COTA), a possible Vettel win in Brazil, and neither one winning in Mexico.

More interesting is what Vettel's margin to Bottas will be. He's 67 points behind today. By the end of Austin that is likely to be in the mid 50s assuming Hamilton ahead Merc 1-2s. Bottas led 1-2s for the remaining 3 circuits will take a minimum of 30 more points off of it, assuming Vettel is 3rd which at Mexico isn't close to certain.

Well given how Lewis would seem to believe that he owes Valtteri a win and the fact that Lewis appears to go on holiday after the title is clinched, Valtteri could easily score at least two wins out of the next five races, if not more. Given the fact that Sebastian is right now doing no better than third, Valtteri could challenge for second in the standings especially if Toto and company get behind making that happen.

Don't think Sebastian will be getting much help from Kimi for the rest of the year.
