And Alesi collided with Fisichella in that same corner a year later.

 You've got to wonder if Alonso then said to Adrian "See you at Ferrari in 2014" :D

In Fred's mind, he probably just thinks he's congratulating the 3xWDC.

Thanks for reminding me how beautiful Ligier cars were. I'd love to see the name back, along with Brabham and Minardi, but the lack of tobacco sponsorship would mean it wouldn't look the same. Perhaps Alain could come back and take another shot at it with the Ligier name this time.

Yes, Ligier's livery is my all time favorite. It has a discrete touch of French national colors, and if they ever organize some national team like "Force France" they can keep the color without Gitanes sponsorship. Prost would do a good job I believe, as a team principal, having learned lots from previous experience.

Quite.

Can I remind everyone not to reply to posts such as those removed above - it gives us more work to do.

Thanks everyone for reporting that.

I like how you have "fanboyism" as against the rules.....so why don't you go ahead and enforce that rule please?

That's a delicate balance, but if you report something as such then we will look into it and take action if necessary.

Equally, derailing threads to question us is against the rules, so if you wish to continue this discussion I suggest we take it to the feedback thread

As you were, chaps and chappettes.

How about complementing you on your sense of humour (I wouldn't be a proper f1 fan if I'm not looking for loopholes :P). "inappropriate member removed", it sure made me spill my coffee.

Sorry Fred, I just can't support a driver who waxes his chest. It's on a slippery slope which leads to hair straighteners, skinny jeans and 'guyliner' as I believe it's called.
