Whats impressive about this is despite having the better cars of the field the current top team drivers are at the top. Look at Rosberg!

I am not sure what did you mean with it. If to look at Nico, and if to rearrange the list the way to reflect more the reality, then Nico falls down into the lower part:

The original list is in terms of total overtakes. But taken the ratio, overtakes/overtaken, the list would look:

1. Vettel 3.841
2. Lewis 2.963
3. Alonso 2.489
4. Roman 2.236
5. Webber 2.218
6. Massa 2.103
7. Kimi 1.779
8. Sutil 1.550
9. Vergne 1.442
10. Button 1.410
11. Maldonado 1.397
12. Perez 1.113
13. di Resta 1.103
14. Rosberg 0.949

Last: Max Chilton and Giedo van der Garde: 0.136

Ah fair point  Without working out the ratios as you have it doesn't look as bad. Not surprising about the top 3. Alonso regularly qualifies in the 5th/6th region with a good race pace. Hamilton is very aggressive and goes for overtakes if he gets the slightest sniff of one. Finally for Vettel despite qualifying high up usually there have been a couple of instances where he starts out of position and makes up a lot of places. Abu Dhabi/Brazil 2012 and China 2013 most recently.

I'd say that was most impressive of Alonso given he spent 2003/2004/2008/2009 in the midfield. It'll average out for Vettel over his career I'm sure.

I assume Row 2, furthest right is the Findia drivers... I can't even say which is which. I'd guess right is Sutil but honestly, I'm not even sure I believe it is them.

Edit: Given one looks like Hulk, probably not.

Nah mate, Furthest right row 2 are the Saubers.
Its the first 2 on row 3 Force India. First PDR then Sutil.

Ah. Right you are. Not that I agree that the infant looks more like Keke than present-day Nico!

Do you think that the reason could be that until 2007 motor racing was banned in Switzerland so when he was starting out getting a racing licence in Switzerland would be a bit difficult?

Sauber are Swiss obviously, so pre 2007 was their operation illegal? ;)

what was illegal was racing on race tracks... but since Sauber didn't race in Switzerland they didn't do anything illegal

Aye yeah. Given the fact those two look like PDR and Adrian Sutil, it should have been a gve away but wasn't. It's odd, couldn't place them before but now it is obviously them.
