They are a joke of a team, for the last what 5 races mechanical failures, not furling enough, pit stops, gearbox failures, went of on some little field trip with button trying to find what was wrong with his setup while leaving Hamilton to slow down.

Theyve had a fast car all season long, Hamilton has driven faultless, mclaren are a joke.

It's just bad luck really, no one at McLaren was to blame for that.

Engines are old now.

somehow Button's engine and car seems to work very well, I quess he will finish this championship ahead o Hamilton, That seems to be Mclaren's objective for the rest of the season.

Your need to be sectioned if you think they have sabotaged him, just accept that McLaren a generally incompetent and massively fairy cakes. If the Merc is 90% as fast as the McLaren next season Lewis will have a decent year.

Not an engine failure tho is it, it's electrical so at least people can't blame Lewis thus time.

I dont see any conspiracy, i see a Mclaren team that has fallen from the elite. Whitmarsh is the wrong man for the job, there never, ever, should be as many things go wrong with a F1 team in a year, as Hamilton has had.

I cant blame Hamilton one bit for leaving the team, and todays "engine cutoff" only backs Hamiltons decision to leave what is clearly a unreliable car.

Well, it's the same story here every weekend Mclaren joke / not wanting Lewis to win etc and this is already the second thread on the same topic today.

it shows they are actually as that hasnt really translated to many championships.

you dont get points for leading GPs you get points for winning them.

If we add lewis's -0.7s to merc's lap times then he will be competitive next year.

I was thinking that in quali, Jenson was only .3s ahead of Rosberg

Pretty sure most of the front runners used a new engine the weekend. Thought it was an electrical failure anyway?

Of course it was a electrical failure, McLaren make the ECU.....McLaren hit the kill switch.......lol in reality McLaren are a bit of a farce lately with all the tech faults and team errors, would you want to stay with them following their form lately, its all downhill.

All the top teams have suffered in the last few years, remember RBR in 2010? They should have walked it that year.

A fairy cakes team that wins grand prixs every year.....right.

They make too many mistakes/have too many failures to win a title at the moment. But to call them a fairy cakes team IS a joke...

This sabotage thing is also outrageous. The points lost today could cost the team millions of dollars in constructors prize money. Of course they did it on purpose :o

4 major problems in 5 races. 50 Points lost through 2 major failures. Many other small parts failing (and were still not talking about the problems earlier in the season).

It's unthinkable but plausible that Hamilton may just be getting less engineering support and quality control of the car due to him leaving.

Damon Hill talking on sky that he's had so much bad luck with car reliability problems this season.

They are guaranteed to be a joke next year, seeing Perez's driving. It's like blind GP2 driving, it's pathetic! It was beyond dumb.

Saying that, Webber is 36, yet had bad driving. He touched Maldonado by giving no room, went off track trying to Massa and joined back FULL SPEED next to him, of course anyone would be shocked and would spin like Massa to avoid him.

But staying on topic, Mclaren are a complete joke for a team which prides in it's technology. Ha!

They are not here to win races, they are here to win championships.
