Jenson Button on LIVE TV in Austin Texas xD Many F1 fans sending photos on twitter with Jenson walking around the city taking pictures with them :) How cool is that xD
( look at the gas price at the back $3.63 for 1 Gallon = 3.7 liter for £2.29  )

Awesome to see F1 back here in the states! I assume Ferrari of San Diego had two trucks (or lorries to some) that were branded with Ferrari so they sent them to transport the cars and gear. I'm really looking forward to the race and other events this weekend and I hope its a success to keep the series coming back to America every year.

It's $2.09 a litre in New Zealand so that would be about $7.73 (Kiwi dollar) per gallon. And $2.60 for a litre in the UK. :?

What's with the ever changing stars/stripes paintjob? I've been looking at the latest photos and in some areas they painted over the stars so instead it's only the red/white/blue stripes. Other areas they made the stars blue and red. On the latest COTA photos from FB, another area has black paint over the stars. Last minute change or sloppy paintjob by the track workers?

In Finland 95 unleaded would be in US dollars about 8.1$/gallon

In all this excitement we're forgetting the best thing ever to come out of Texas.

Just knowing Cordell's on patrol sets my mind at ease.

Most likely "show car tyres" on the old Ferrari.

Looks more like some kind of German escaped convict than a Texas oil tycoon.

Ferrari 458 Challenge support race, 30 or so cars, well at least until two took each other out in practice. Pirelli Porsche GT3 Cup support race is also happening, however the historic F1 car race will be the most interesting. The track was green with cars all day long.

I was at the track today for FP2 and took some photos on my camera, although I don't have a big lens so can't get close. I did create some panoramas of cars going around the corners though, such as this one of Massa:

Apparently Bernie was less than impressed with the stars ... so painted over!
