theres so much rubber that has been placed wide of the corner, who knows, maybe its faster to go wide there now haha

Like Andretti said, it is a challenging turn and it would be a pity if they changed it in the coming years. Apparently, the stewards have said that they will be 'lenient' towards anyone going off the race line there but what this really means is open to question. For instance, if a driver overtook another by using the scenic route deliberately, I don't think they can wave him past without a penalty.

This is what I absolutely cannot stand, and I've touched on it before. Because drivers are having trouble navigating through a turn without error, they feel the need to widen the window in terms of how much excess tarmac you can use. It's a fucking joke. It's constantly drilled into our heads that these are the best racing car drivers in the world, and yet they get special treatment because there's a turn on a track that they can't perfect on a lap-by-lap basis.
