Terrible options. At least make it fair by adding other drivers. And I voted Button under other.

Needs more options.

I'd pick any of Hamilton, Massa and Button at the very least.

Who else should I put, Button and Alonso? I think they were trumped by their team mates today. Everyone else went backwards, so who else could I put?

Hamilton with an honorable mention for Massa. Has to be said that Button did pretty well considering where he started.

That may be your opinion but at least put them so that others that disagree with you can vote at least. Other doesn't really cut it IMO.

Just stick every driver in there as an option. That makes it fair.

We was doing terrific before his spin and kept getting overtaken after that.

Alonso : Great start, maintain his position till the end.
Grosjean : Turn 19, forgiven. But made a great recovery. New tyre master?
Button : Strategy paid off. Great wheel-to-wheel racing.
Hulkenburg : For another strong run in much inferior car.

This poll is stupid. It's like asking what your favorite movie is and only put 2 options in it.

Congrats to LH, but Massa hauled ash today, took the demotion on the chin and still recovered to where he'd have been if Alonso had simply caught him up and they traded places. Ferrari and all of us can thank Massa for keeping the championship alive, if he hadn't qualified ahead of Alonso it would be all over now.

Just because your fave driver isn't on it, no need to bash me.

I don't want to dilute the quality of the poll, I usually don't put an "other" option but seeing as Hamilton or Massa are getting more votes than the rest of the grid put together, it seems I've put up the right options.

Nah I think that's because a lot of ppl don't bother after seeing the options.

Hamilton without a doubt. Brilliant drive.

As for the poll, come on now what is that  Just put all the drivers and let people vote what they want.

Hamilton and Vettel were in a class of their own today. I'm not sure the Red Bull was as dominant on race day as it appeared to be in practice and qualifying so Vettel certainly deserves some credit for the pace he showed; Button's pace would suggest that Red Bull and McLaren were very closely matched. Massa and Button also deserve honourable mentions for two superb comeback drives after starting in poor grid positions through no fault of their own.

The actual poll is rather pointless and needs more options. There are drivers other than Hamilton and Massa would you could justifiably vote as driver of the day

Solid tie for Lewis and Felipe in my book! Both drove great races. Actually, a lot of guys drove really well today. So much clean racing going on out there. Obviously not thrilled about Seb's p2, but happy for Lewis, happy for America, happy for F1!!

Grosjean had a similar sort of race at Silverstone, remember. He seems to find speed on the harder tyres in sooler conditions.

Has to be Lewis for me. Took the fight directly to Red Bull, showing that you can out race them, delayed Vettel's WDC progress until Brazil, and overall, entered the race with a determined to win attitude. Good job!

Lewis, he was the only one to follow and ultimately beat both Vettel and Newey outstanding pace, it f you have switched cars, he'd win with a 30sec gap

Vettel topped P1, P2 and P3.
Then topped Q1,Q2 and Q3.
Then led every lap until Lewis overtook him.

Vettel should have won this race. So Lewis is my driver of the race. Vettel dominated the entire weekend.

I should add that the point is he beat vettel with a clearly lesser car (quali pace anyways) and without any real luck advantages being handed down to him (such as safety cars and the like)

Maybe Vettel is a quick learner? I personally can pick up things really quick. But then with practice others are better than me :( But as the sessions went on the others got closer and closer to Vettel. Just another side of the coin if you will.

I don't even bother voting in those polls with too few options. I'll skip this one too.

Someone wanted to mention Narain... Any takers as to why Narain deserves a mention?

They call others biased... oh the irony!

Genuinely can't choose between the McLaren boys. Both tore that track apart today. Fantastic stuff.

Massa gets the honorable mention. He was faster than Alonso all weekend to the point Ferrari had to basically sabotage his car, with Massa's "blessing", to get Alonso back ahead. Had Massa started where he was supposed to he could have been 3rd quite easily.

Not much too add to previous posts on Hamilton Vettel Button Massa etc, except that Hulkenberg deserves a mention too. Extracted the most out of the soft tyres in the first few laps to make up multiple positions (up to fifth at one stage!), then somehow managed to hold off both Williams which were plainly faster at the end on the hard tyres.

That first sector said a lot about Hamilton's performance today - he was consistently about 0.3s quicker than Vettel through it, a very technical part of the track... I would put it down to the car, but it did seem he was taking a different line to Vettel through turns 2 to 9, so you could argue that was Hamilton's skill making those extra tenths.

For me, it's Hamilton, but we all know that McLaren, at the moment is the all-round best package; it's quick in qualifying (maybe not quite there against Vettel for pole) and quick in the race. The RBR is quick in qualifying but its race pace doesn't seem to be up there with the McLaren, and occasionally Ferrari.

Anyway yeah, Hamilton driver of the day.

Actually qualifying was rather close between Hamilton and Vettel...unless a tenth of a second is a clearly a lesser car in your opinion.

I'm going with a Massa/Hamilton driver of the day
