Moarn the end of season for a day or too and then get on with Christmas shenanigans until pre season.

Spoke to a friend today after the race. Said that he's heard murmors that Mercedes have been working on a completely new chassis for next year. Apparently they've gone for a longer base and have come up with some innovation regarding tyre wear. He said he doesn't know what this means but that that because its been their biggest issue this year they have put in a lot of resources on this problem. Obviously he hasn't got any info on what but said its a reliable person. Same person who had hinted on a aero stalling device last year.

Though we know how that turned out.

It's just desperation. I hope HAM on the new SIMULATOR is able to DEVELOP the CAR MUCH.

To be honest I can't see how they could be worse. I will be dissappoonted if they have not completely ReDeveloped the car into next year.

I will probably spend my time in the official football thread, discussing up to date news...

I should also start studying for my exams in January. And overall go out at the weekends, instead of having to make up excuses!

Another good Heineken Cup run will well keep me entertained until March. I have tickets for the Northampton game - can't wait!

So is Newey really the one man magic team or is it the people around him that make the real difference?

Have the tyres and understanding them been the key to success and will they continue to play a major part next year or it is the car that mostly makes the difference still?

I think everyone got on top of the tyres eventually. The 6 day weeks our guys put in made the difference. You would not believe how dedicated they are, in on Boxing Day in on New Years day. It really is a big team effort.

Yip should keep us going. Pro 12 too. A win over Scarlets and that'll be a good old lead at the top.

Lucky bugger on the tickets.

I'll be trying to do that too! I wish you luck!

I've got 3 months of holidays to enjoy so I'll be working, continue playing my electric guitar, working out, gaming, reading a few books, get some more time with my g27.

Will also be waiting for Community season 4. Someone mentioned hibernation; I think I might need that.

Do you ever talk you your mates about car development? Assume your in that field?

Ie would them or you know if you had something special coming?

I grew up in mk. Went school in NP

Mk is such a dull place.

Nothing wrong with MK mate! I love it here. Well, when compared to other places in the UK anyway.

Glad the seasons over. As a hamilton fan this year was painful.

For me the offseason is time to rebuild the race car i have and order up a new engine. Also time to order a car for my 13yr old grandson and get that powdercoated and assembled. Lots of work to do before the season starts again in april. Somehow the winter always seems to go to fast.

Like most of you can't wait for the testing to start. Here's hoping the 2013 season is as exciting as this year was and my driver can get a competitive car that's a little more reliable.
