How to correct? How can it be so scary.

Much respect F1 drivers.

Absolutely nothing he, or any other driver, could've done in that situation.
Once his car decided it wanted out he was a total passenger.
Scary, but luckily due to the rain he wasn't travelling as fast as he could've been.

Unfortunately I have to wait before I can watch the race (I recorded it as I was working) What happened to Grosjean? How exactly did he retire?

I don't mean to beat about the bush, but to say Schumacher a 43 year old can have a beard shows it's instinct, not only a reaction time, a judgement.

So the excuses come about Romain losing control of his car on his own due to pushing to much through the corner, it was all his fault, stop making excuses for the crash kid.

He simply tried to hard lost control of the car and crashed into the wall, it was a simple rookie error which again cost Lotus more money and points.

It was hard to think oh wow. Lotus clearly went for a dry race. That was absolutely a sick snap. How would any driver control that?

Seriously? He was pushing to hard and lost control, the snap was his fault for pushing to hard in the corner in mixed conditions. Stop making excuses for the crash kid, it was a pure rookie error, and he's known for it, he never learns.

Still hard to control. Don't get me wrong I love that Schumi brought the car into a good position having little performance. Lotus looked uncontrollable.

Apparantly the impact was 9.5g

I wonder what that must feel like, 10g for any length of time causes death but I suppose it's different when it's brief
But what a disastrous end to the season for him :(

You have to understand these are F1 drivers, the pinnacle of all racing drivers.

The incident with Romain is a pure class case of pushing to hard into a corner in mixed conditions which causes the snap. Often it can be correctly, but sometimes not and you lose control, especially in wet conditions.

The morale of the story is, if you push to hard in those conditions, you take a risk of crashing it into a wall, and in this case Romain was simply pushing to hard and again he crashed out of a race due to a rookie error.

It's all his own doing though. (Most of the incidents and crashing was his fault no one else's)

He deserves the chance IMO. Kimi struggled also.

He was off-throttle and as soon as he touched the throttle it spun.

A bit too much on the throttle coming out of the corner and I think one of his wheels was on the wet kerbing. It happens, but I think RoGro lost a lot of motivation and he was trying to keep his nose clean at all times. If he comes back, I think he will be better next year.

All the blame for this cannot be placed at RoGro for having a bad race, you just have to look at Kimi to see Lotus went the wrong way with setup. Even he was struggling to keep his car facing the right way, and he's a WDC and recently a rally driver ;)

Kimi struggled in qualifying earlier in season that's all mainly, he's sitting 3rd in the standings, may I remind you how many times Romain has crashed out and took other cars out, and where he sits in the standings?

The incidents and standings don't lie.

Rain first and most important lesson, never accelerate on the white line or kerb!

Yes all the blame should be placed on rogro. The guy simply isn't as good as kimi. The only blame we can give the team is that they chose the guy to drive for them.

Didn't Jody Scheckter start his career crashing? Grosjean has shown himself to be a good qualifier. Give him a chance.

Exactly, what a beast. Kimi had a problem too. It was very hard to control. Very bitchy.

Grosjean cut into the white line during the corner turn-in. If I remember correctly many drivers deliberately stayed out if the white at that point of the race.

On a side note di resta's crash was a bit weird though. I think he and grosjean were the only 2 drivers who crashed out of the race on their own.
