Hi

I'm doing a podcast programme in mid-December - reviewing the 2012 season and announcing the winners of these awards.

The list and nominations are on this survey site: http://www.esurveyspro.com/Survey.aspx? ... c74d5a27bb

Enjoy voting for your favourites, including driver of the year, race of the year and team of the year.

Also Done.

One category I did not see and would have liked to... Comeback driver of the year in which case I'd have voted Felipe Baby!

Not Kimi?

By the way "Yes yes yes, I know how to warm the tyres, you don't have to remind me all the time." is wrong and should be "Yes, yes, yes, yes. I'm doing it all the time. You don't have to remind me every second."

That would be a tough one but excellent point. i just never doubted Kimi would have lost anything and knowing how much tougher and over the limit rally cars are in comparison to F1, Rally drivers might actually have faster reflexes in certain situations and when combined with all of Kimi's prior F1 experience, in my mind he was better, more complete driver coming back to F1. His Team is the comeback team for sure and when you factor in that one of it's significant performance elements was said not to be in compliance of the rules after the FIA initially said it definitely was, they did one helluva job to still put out an excellent contender. We will just have to wonder how much better the car would have been with its initial design and if it would have been a bit faster, one has to wonder how different both championships would have played out.

I think that some of the categories should have had more options. Drive of the year and overtake of the year, notably.

I understand the options choice but I felt it was only fair to do a selection. For example, drive of the year (I wanted to do just one driver for each), otherwise it might be all Alonso/Vettel.

Just a couple more days to vote. Closes Wednesday lunchtime ahead of the podcast recording on Wednesday night.
