Why Lotus chooses Grosjean?

Because he is superior.

F1 is not a novelty popularity poll.

Grosjean >>>>>>>> Kobayashi

If Kobayashi is that good than why hasn't any big team even at least approached him for talks???

Unfortunately Jomox, "standings don't lie", and it comes out to show that Grosjean has 3 F1 podiums to his name, compared to Kamui's single podium. That says 3x more superior.

Of course, I don't rely on stats, otherwise a lot of my favourites wouldn't make sense, and the fact that I'm torn between Grosjean and Kamui. I like both! Can't we just put them both in the Lotus? Pretty please?!

Whatever it is i hope the remaining teams make their announcements quickly enough, this is getting boring for the fans and i am sure is damaging for the team not knowing who their drivers will be

I hope he can find something to do next year, to keep him sharp. Maybe a couple of races in Le Mans series, or even back to GP2 for a season? It didn't do Grosjean any harm.

Is there not a limit on the number of F1 races or points or something you can compete before you are ineligible to go back down?

BTW not sure, just seem to remember seeing something when people were talking about Kubica doing it.

You can't race in GP2 if you're a champion, but you can move from F1 to GP2. Yamamoto, Bruni, Pantano & Grosjean are some examples of those that did.

I know there was a few that moved down . But I could swear there was something about the max number of races you could do or number of points or something and then you were barred as such.
