If you where head of a new top team entering F1 (lets say team Coca Cola) wich two driver would you choose of the current F1 driver.
Also if you would give equal status or a clear number 1 and 2.

Drivers. Hamilton/Hulk

#1. Ham

#2. Hulk

Cant say without 'seeing' the team. some drivers just would not fit in a team.
Ham and Kimi in a Williams etc.

Best value for money would seem to be something like Hulk and a top driver. one of Lewis/Button/Alonso/Kimi

If they were aiming for a particular section of the population, who knows

The rest of the team is more important than the drivers, so they are the last thing I'd worry about choosing. Also, "new" and "top" = bit of an oxymoron.

Depending on my mood - Vettel/Hamilton or f I was feeling a bit devil may care Grosjean/Maldanado

And I would start the season with drivers on an equal footing.

Can I just have Newey to design the car and any driver? I mean any driver can win in a Newey car can't they?!

From a tactical point of view, Vettel and Alonso. Then all you have to beat is Hamilton in a Mercedes, Button in a Mclaren, Webber in a Red Bull and whoever replaced those two.

That gives you a great line up and weakens the other teams significantly.

assuming that I had the rest of the pieces in place (ie designer, engineers, management, etc) and disregarding any personal issues that may have existed between team personnel and the drivers, I would go with

Alonso & Button

if not that

Alonso & Massa (2012 second half Filipe that is)

Get Newey.

1. Vettel.

2. Webber.

Those three have won 3WCC in a row. No brainer.

Realistically, with the drivers actually available - I'd take Rubens or Heikki as an experienced driver and put a young driver such as Calado in the second seat. Of course, I would not need a pay driver, as my F1 team purchase would occur just a week after having won the lottery and just days after I discovered crude oil in my back garden.

I would then get sponsorship from either Gulf or Texaco for a spiffing livery, or, and this depends on how much oil they find behind the shed, buy Rubery Owen Ltd, acquire the BRM name and run them in dark green and dayglo orange.

Of course, I might have to buy out Force India to acquire an entry and to save jobs in the UK, in which case it'd be di Resta and Calado, or perhaps take Koba with James as a test driver for one year.

Realistically speaking, of course.

I have thought about this far too much already. Image

Kimi and massa.

Reason being we know Kimi is a championship winning entity. And masa mentally knows he has previously out performed kimi and therefore less suceptable to any confidence issues. He's as fast as anyone else on his day. Why not nurture that with a tried and tested method?

Hmm, Lets see, first I'd try and get Sky, Coca cola (or pepsi) and WWE sponsors, I would probably go for Renault Engines

I'd get Geoff Willis onboard, Pat Symonds too

I'd probably want 1998 arrows style livery.. all black with white sponsors maybe cola could adverise coke zero..or if its pepsi..pepsi max )

as for drivers

Nico Hulkenberg, he is developing into a strong driver

Bruno Senna, there is the name yes but he is good at picking up points

1-Maldonado

One would add adrenalin and sponsors, the other would bring experience and know-how to the team.

Alonso & Massa... I think they are the perfect pair. I wouldnt want ego clashes by hiring 2 extremely charged up drivers, that would hamper the teamS progress. Also, yes I would have team orders occasionally.

You would need a development driver to help the team grow and and someone with raw pace that needs to be tamed.

For me:

1) Raikonnen
2) Kovalainen

Team Finland. ;)

Perfect, there's something appealing about that dynamic. Don't think I want to run a clear one/two setup so Alonso's out. Next best would be Hamilton. And the best of the 'new wave' is clearly (to me) Hulk. Plus they seem to fit together.

IMO they are the best pairing which has no chance of imploding!!!
