Reports have emerged that the Istanbul Park circuit has been leased for 11yrs to a Turkish businessman Varul Ak, who wants the Turkish Grand Prix to return as early as 2013. The track is quiet popular with drivers, although it has seen a steady fall in venue attendance.

Its my favorite track in the CM games. A wonderful circuit ! Its such a shame it rarely gets big crowds and obviously the funding isn't (or wasn't) there. Personally I'd love to have that race back.

It is getting some new funding from that new owner and the govt in the coming months. Apart from the attendence I think this a great track. Its anti clockwise and that famous multiapex turn 8 that part is just sensational.

My views on Istanbul Park are a mixed bag. Great track but the atmosphere is one of the most lacklustre in the F1 calender.
