Turun Sanomat asked why Kimi hasn't entered the RoC since it would be like tailor-made for him with all the different car types. Here's what Kimi had to say:

- I just don’t feel like going. They’ve asked me often. During my first years in F1 I really wanted to participate, but I never got permission while I drove for McLaren.
- If the race was similar to what it used to be in the Canary islands where they drove on sand and tarmac with rally cars and others, I would join immediately.
- Now when it’s in stadiums it’s a such a Mickey Mouse show that it’s nothing like it used to be. I’ve made a suggestion to the organizers that they would change it back to the old format and then I would be interested in participating.

Good ol' Kimi. I'd vote for it back in the Canary Islands too, good excuse for a holiday!

Right, unless you're in the US and don't want to bother with proxies and other annoyances. Might as well support the state-side broadcasters. If they don't get decent viewership, they won't continue to invest in these things.

If you're going to watch it on the internet, why watch it 11 hours delayed and without Hindy and Crofty?

Because I don't want to set up proxies and I want to support US broadcasters.

The US will never have a following if we keep subverting official channels and ditch what little coverage we have.

You don't need to do any of that. And I only support GOOD US broadcasting, because supporting crap just gets us more crap :D

I don't think any US Broadcast will ever be good enough for you, unless we start re-broadcasting European broadcasts.

Is this being streamed on the RoC website like last year? i hope so but i can not see any info about it on the site. It seems strange they wouldn't stream it as a lot of people like myself don't have access to the broadcast channel for their country.

I'd be freaked out if I didn't know you weren't a guy.

I personally don't intend on touching Schumi today or any other day. I'm sure we'd both be very uncomfortable with it.

I think the post in the other thread is correct on you Ashley, If you manage to see Vettel anywhere even his F1 fitness won't allow him to get away from your Usain Bolt speed :D
