The first ever Formula One car I ever saw in the flesh was the Denny Hulme version of this car, being driven on a demonstration run around the Wellington street circuit by the Denny himself, would have been 1988 if my memory serves me correctly.

Lest we forget "Bitten & Hisses" I guess I have a thing for yellow F1 cars, because I loved the Renault R30 from the get go too.

As for op's question, well I never "hated" it, but I've only recently got Ferrari red. The F2012 is a very pretty thing, and looking back I don't know why I didn't appreciate previous Ferraris as much as I should have.
