Can anybody recommend any good (very good, preferably) Jim Clark biographies? There's plenty of books on the great champions, but Jim Clark seems to be less-than-popular when it comes to biographies. He's a figure I'd very much like to know great detail about.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Its more than 44 years since that awful 7th April at Hockenheim so many of the best books about Jim Clark are now out of print but you may be able to find second hand copies. My suggestions are:

Jim Clark: Portrait of a great driver and/or Jim Clark Remembered, both by Graham Gauld (a long-time personal friend of Clark)

Jim Clark by Doug Nye

Jim Clark at the Wheel by the man himself
