Before his brief F1 career with ATS and Tyrrell, Slim Borgudd was a drummer with a couple of little-known Swedish bands, "Made in Sweden" and "Solar Plexus". As a session musician, he also contributed his drumming to a few ABBA tracks. Talking of Swedish drivers, Kenny Brack is best known for his IRL and CART successes but in 1996 he was briefly the Arrows F1 team's test driver. KB is also lead guitarist and song writer with the semi-pro rock band "Brack" (no prizes for guessing how he got that gig).
