With the presence of Sergio Perez and Esteban Gutierrez, Jose Abed will petition on the return for GP racing back in Mexico. Somewhere around $50 million are spent in renovations at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.

Hopefully in the future, we hope for Indy Car and MotoGP can make their presence as well.

Great news. I hope it happens as I love this circuit...I hope they don't completely destroy it. With such a long straight as well as a long sequence of sweeping bends it would make a real challenge to get downforce levels right.

Would be great to see modern F1 cars battling and overtaking into the old Peraltada...I bet it gets changed though... x(

Oooh... I recall that race in 1990 where Prost won from 12th position, more because Mansell overtook Berger around the outside going into the Peredelta approaching the last lap.

I would also like to see Indy Car and MotoGP in the future. The proposed Cancun track was beyond ugly.

$50 Million is not a lot of money.
That would pretty much just cover a new pit complex which the circuit badly needs.
I doubt that would cover a resurface, but who cares if its slippery. There are too many billiard table circuits out there anyway.
