As always, you can't hear any fuzz from Red Bull HQ, no movement, no promises, no advertisement, no sound....... silence. Then when they show up, it's KAAPPBBOOOM! Fudge, I can't wait to see RB9.

We've seen the pattern.
Rule changes in 2009 - RB5 was good, then came the 2010 - RB6 which was a smasher, then came the mighty 2011 - RB7.

RULE CHANGES: 2012 - RB8 somehow weaker, NO CHANGES: - came 2013 - RB9 the:________(fill in the blank with an adjective from the poll).

Let's hope it'll be the 2nd fastest car on the grid, Ferrari being first. Alonso's 3rd title is long overdue

I went supervolcano...because they came from being dormant before 2009, to causing widespread championship destruction

And, if the eruption continues it might just wipe out every other species of manufacturer (except McLaren and Ferrari of course) ;)

I chose RB9 the Disaster, more out of hope than anything else.

The same could have been said about any of the teams. All of them are always very quiet until launch day. It's certainly in no way something unique to Red Bull. Not sure how you could think it was in the first place really :/

In Formula One, it's not how you start, it's how you finish. In 2009 when three teams showed up with the double diffuser, they were on their back foot but eventually developed a very strong car. 2012 was the same story, the FIA had banned Newey's exhaust solution and they started the season scrambling. Many teams also had their ups and down, but it was the development of their car that either saved grace, or left them on the beach.

It's nice to start the season with a dominant car, but the ability to develop the car is very critical, and Red Bull have shown they are as good as anyone at that game.

It would be good to see them firmly third fastest behind McLaren and Ferrari for a season.

Well Newey's long-overdue a lemon - 2003 McLaren twin then.
