Yeah and they didn't tell me in the 20 minutes I left it on the countdown page, only when it began!

Not only that but the site is dying so I can't get logged in.

video fail. It's turnipped. Showing a sky sports holding page on the live feed, which keeps going to a camera sitting on the floor of a garage. Then it just went to the test screen with the 'beeeeeep' in the background.

Very professional launch....

You can use Firebug to just delete all the crap that comes up and underneath the video is already there waiting to be played.

You got cookies enabled? You have to agree to them before you can get on the site, then once agreed go here: http://www.forceindiaf1.com/vjm06-launch

You then have to register, confirm your email address , etc. Bit of a bloody gherkin take.

Stream it on Sky Sports News instead.

website down - maybe they realized the trend towards modesty panels and are desperately trying to cover their step ;)

That sucks :(

Mind you, not missing much. The page just shows a sky sports news holding screen. And its not being show on the F1 channel or SSN at all right now - not even mentioned it!

Nice start for Force India!

Don't like it. Raikkonen's '13 helmet will take some beating. :smug:

yeah still pretty boring when compared to some others. Its also not really all that different from his old one. Mainly just a colour change. http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/wp-content/u ... 2012-5.jpg

Somehow, helmets with simple designs and two colors appeal.

Prefer his new helmet to last year's, but meh. That's my feeling of Force India this year so far... "Meh".
Shame really, I was starting to really get behind them with Hulk.

Seems a bit underwhelming. Like they just woke up and were like lets show people the car.

Last year's car was far, far sexier...If 2013 is going to be the year of these mid-90s 'block' noses then it's going to be a very ugly year indeed.

Down with the modesty panel!

also the car looks more like a mid-season update to me... which might even be the case given the huge amount of work teams are facing for 2014...

as for economical reasons, Sahara Force India has decided to go with only one driver this season - therefore the second car will be secured to the first car by special piece of technology, envisioned by our highly creative development team. with this new technology, Sahara-Force India will be able to run both cars for the cost of only one car - which is an entirely new and exciting system - as for qualifiying, we are in talks with FIA's technical director on how to manage the challenge to get both cars lined up behind each other at every race.

WHy is this surprise?
They said more than a week back that there wont be announcement of 2nd driver at launch. This was specifically mentioned. But we should hear something in next 4-5 days or it will be directly at 2nd test.

The one area where Force India is sure to never disappoint in is making a lackluster looking car. Somehow they always fail to make a car that really grabs your attention. This looks just about as fast as needed to run consistently in the middle of the midfield. What a poorly handled launch. A couple of small pictures and only one driver.

Car's a little bit uglier than last year but I'll still be choosing them for my career in F1 2013.

The new Force India looks so bland and conventional looking. It's like they have taken a step backwards not forwards with development. Of course being conservative can work but when you are already in the midfield you kinda have to take a risk and throw bits on the car left right and centre. I don't see them making much progress up the field this year. Compared to say the Lotus the FI looks positively GP2 in styling.

At least Di Resta has the Saltire on his helmet again.
