Looks bad to me... maybe i'm alone on this one, everyone at subreddit F1 is loving this

EDIT: Is this the final version? Looks like it's some kind of CG.... and so little sponsors?

With de la Rosa gone and Hamilton changing the design, I think only Webber has has original helmet design, correct me if wrong.

Massa's and Button's are quite different to what the started out with.

It's one of the most famous logos of all time. You're a teetotaler, I'm guessing.

In my country thirteen-year-olds like me aren't allowed to drink alcohol. I didn't know that there was a beer company who has a guy with invisible legs in their logo.

The design looks like something a 10-year-old girl came up with, it's just lacking some pink. But I'm sure it will serve the purpose of protecting his head just fine. :-P

i like it but not sure about the red on it though, before it seemed solid and for a reason it seems to have been splashed on as an after thought, he has kept his homage to senna but made it more his own style, maybe part of him growing as a person or just distancing himself from his McLaren days

That is a NICE helmet.

Finally a driver who sticks with his colours. He kept it clean & simple
Looks good. Other helmets look far worse.

Clean and simple? That is everything but, this is clean and simple...

So Hamilton's is a Marmite helmet then? Kimi's is the only one that I really like like so far. I think Hamilton's is foul and the rest I'm indifferent too.

DC kept his simple

Kimi always has decent helmets

Jenson has nearly always used the same concept bar changing colours like in 09

Alonso usually has something decent and relevant to him

I assume that the '#1/13' on Hamilton's helmet means we'll be seeing a few (ie 13) versions of that design this year

Enless that relates to 2013 in some way

Just looks like more of a official production number to me, like only 13 copies of that helmet have been made. Obviously that could change if he has multiple accidents and needs to change his helmet a lot :-P

not really a fan to be honest, looks really chunky and too messy, he should have kept it the same, tbf though its hard to make anything look good with the monster logo on it which is just ugly anyway

Actually just looking at Hamilton's new helmet, it doesn't appear to have the green material inside like he had for last year. I remember him saying that it was not a normal production material and he had to find it and get it put in, but its possible this is just a show version.

Gotta admit, Hamilton helmet looks hideous!

So far my favourite are Checo's, Kimi's and Romain's. Loving the matt finish on Kimi's.

One wonders how many different helmets Seb will go through.

I like the flake in it, but I don't like neon green/red/blue together, and its becoming really common on other helmets. AFdC has it, DiResta, half the Rolex24 field, etc

Although I think I quite like Lewis' new helmet - however, not as much as his previous designs - I do miss the simpler helmet designs of years past.

Something like this:

A lot of the artwork style on the majority of current F1 driver's helmets remind me of boy racer spoilers. The spoiler on something like this, for example:

The new helmet is pretty darn nice. The green is more prevalent and quite brighter and the red seems a bit darker, but I think it is mainly because of the metallic paint they used for the helmet to possibly differentiate from Nico's and Lewis' helmets. Nico's yellow and gray color is flat compared to Lewis' now brighter and more metallic yellow.

Its only a helmet and it will begin to grow on people becuase I like this design. Its nothing more than a change of the type of paint being used from a gloss to metallic paint. Thats all.

I love Gutierrez's design, Hulkenberg's would be awesome if it wasn't for the orange/yellow bit on the visor.

You know that orange/yellow bit on the visor is the actual visor right? And they do change the tint regularly dependant on conditions, light etc... I think if you guys are basing an opinion on a visor tint, thats a little strange... it holds no bearing on the actual helmet design :)

I wasn't sure if it was the visor or under it, I'm on my phone. Glad to hear it's not permanent.

Estaben's helmet is very good. So is Hulk's.

I strongly dislike Hamilton's design, it just looks far too clustered and busy than it needs to be
