While we're all watching the "preview video" they will present the car to the folks assembled at MK, and then feed us bits and pieces (pics, interviews, prob other vids) via their website and social media. That's standard RB style.

Bit odd. Its not like it'll even be the actual working car as that'll be over in Jerez right now.

I hope they actually do a nice livery. I dont mind purple but the car's just been so damn boring to look at. Spice it up a bit with something other than Blue/Purple, Red, White and Yellow in the same lines every year.

I've always thought it a bit busy actually, any more spice and it would be an eyesore.

If they change it this year I wonder if all their lower formula cars will be changed as well; they've all pretty much matched the F1 car for years.

I really liked the special Silverstone mosaic type overlay they had last year, it somehow made it look less busy and easier on the eyes than normal.......

My face was somewhere on that car. So glad Webber won that race XD

So still blue, modesty panel, and, if anything, more stripes!

Oh for goodness sake. Same livery but with purple haze added. So now we have red, white, silver, yellow, blue and purple. Pick 2 or 3 ffs.

I think that that picture up there is not from the launch, the photo I posted is from the video on their youtube channel

Why is the car in that video completely different to the one pictured earlier in the thread?

Yeah you posted whilst I was posting. I meant the one above yours with the modesty panel. Or is it the 7?

There is no possible WORSE way to add purple to that car. Jeezus. Seb's going to have to give his some ugly name like Hester. No offense to anyone's mom.

Not the RB9 then. Just realised that's an RB7.

Twitter, it's got the FIA action on road safety logo on the front wing as well so must be a 2013 car...

Edit: Or maybe not.

Yup no way its the RB9 as the photos from inside the launch show the car the other way around. Plus it says redbull on the side instead of infinity.

Hoping after the launch is pointless. Not entirely, but it does have a purple haze.

Looks like one of those Flip colours fashionable about 10 years ago.

Apologies for the picture confusion, I grabbed it off Twitter and these things spread quickly! Was sure the FIA label on the front wing meant it was a 2013 car, but I may have just been blind and not noticed that sticker in previous years.

Well this has been a pretty fairy cakes launch. No worse than the Merc one tho, but pretty gherkin poor considering they are a top team. Macca and Ferrari, and even Force India managed to do a live stream (which were very popular), there's no reason why RB couldn't do it as well.

Might want to edit it out of the original post to avoid confusion :)

Love the wobbling rear wing in the video too. I bet Ferrari are watching that and already lodging a protest to the FIA over flexi-wings.

Also 318 views, probably mostly linked from here as almost 200 people are viewing this topic.

Yep as good as the 'rhythmn' video is, it should have been a pre-cursor to a live stream of the launch. Very poor by RBR.

An overly optimistic fan would like to believe that the use of Mark's car points to big things this year. ;)
