That's actually a very pretty piece of sculpture...how refreshing.

If only it went as fast as it looks :)

it's hard to see on that particular pic, but looking at the ones on the Marussia twitter page, the nose (the part that would be stepped) is now white to go along with the additional white trim that was added.

Looks like Virgin is now off the car... definitely looking short of sponsors, which isn't a good sign, looks like just Marussia on the cowl, and nothing on the side pods.

Could do with a sponsor on the side pod, I'm guessing they are burning money pretty fast right now!

I do like the look of the car though!

Car itself looks a little GP2, but the livery looks awesome!

Looking at the photo on the Twitter page from the the front, it looks mostly orange (I know they call it red, but looks orange to me), with most of the black of the side pods hidden.

I like it, reminds me a bit of some of the old Arrows.

And the award for the most boring car of 2013 goes to Murussia.

Marussia

The Caterham has been presented - and it's running at the moment.

Looks nice, lack of sponsors on the car just like the Caterham. I hope that Caterham and marussia actually make the step up to the midfield (even if it is the very back of the midfield) and will fight for the odd 9th and 10th place.

Lack of sponsors is always good for looks IMO

If they can be on the grid without big ugly logos and letters on the side of the car then good luck to em...I'd support them just for that. Most stunning looking car in 2013 so far methinks :)

Looks like they've got a cross between a low nose, and a stepped nose.
I know they were the one team other than McLaren who had the low chassis height. But was that little step there last year?

The paint scheme just makes it look like the whole car is an aerofoil...love it to bits! :)

The first "wing car" since 81-82 lol...

Hooray for Marussia!

Well, I really don't like the livery. Don't like the shapes either.. Reminds me of a GP2 car (I know it's very different in reality). Doesn't look fast, but that is probably because I know it will not be.
I understand why ppl like, but it's just not for me. :-P

Looks neat, perhaps a bit too neat to suggest a big leap forward.

Always a bit depressing to see a lack of sponsors on a team at the back of the grid.

Pretty livery, surely one of the top 3. I would say, this year Marussia, Caterham and Ferrari impressed me so far with livery. Sauber was again a big let down, is there anything more boring than painting your car in moody gray?

How about trying to get every colour on your car, like the Red Bull cockup?

Once they get their second driver in (who most think is razia) as he has said he has it, they will populate the car based on sponsors input basically, although it does seem strange that if razia is correct and he already has a contract they didn't unveil him with the car, but he would bring a few sponsors to the car, senna would bring 4-5 so in sure come Australia it will have plenty.

Boring and cheap. Looks like the kind of livery you'd find in a budget junior formula team. The car doesn't look good sans sponsors either, it just looks like the team are ready to fold any minute. I mean you can literally count on one hand the amount of sponsors Marussia seem to have this year, that can't be good.

Me too.

In their fourth season they should be heaving with sponsors. That they just seem to keep losing them doesn't bode well for their long term hopes.

next to no sponsors. Can see Caterham going for a few years yet, purely due to having a large portfolio of backers, but even then they will start to think why are we backing this team if they are still no further up the pack. Still not getting near points.

If Caterham aren't challenging the Toro Rosso this year, I'd imagine the sponsors will start walking away.

Marussia really havent entered the year in a good way have they. Very few sponsors and 1 highly inexperienced driver doing all the test work. They need a decent driver in the team to keep development working, in their current state they will actually be in a worse position than HRT were (and dont forget that HRT beat Marussia in 11)

I like the colourshceme, but this is my issue with the car as well.

The paint job looks great, the car itself looks lower-league.

Gary Anderson doesn't agree:
Quote:
Marussia have tried to improve their general engineering ability for this year - the new car is the first one the new structure has built completely from scratch following the split from ex-designer Nick Wirth in 2011. I've had a good look at it, including under the skin and it is very well mechanically engineered. It's neat and tidy with lots of nice bits and pieces on it. The bodywork is very basic, without turning vanes and other parts aimed at enhancing aerodynamics, but there is room for those to be added. It looks like a solid package.

If it is a complete new car (which I assume will be their first without using CFD to design it?) then hats off to them for it. I dont want to see them vanish, but if they dont get their fairy cakes sorted out they may well do so! You'd have thought that being a Russian backed team, with a Russian race next year, that they would have a decent number of sponsors lined up!

Unless they have and they just aren't on the car for testing (which IIRC Williams did this in recent history).
