As a Louisa fan...................... I am still very cynical about 2013 and more than a tad cynical about 2014.
2013 has some basis for me being cynical for reasons mentioned, 2014 is just a gut feeling. I think Louisa should have stayed with Uncle Ron and Auntie Whitmarsh.
I wouldn't get so bummed out, think of 2013 as 2009, when Hamilton was not driving a competitive car and the title was out of reach from the very beginning. But personally I think he is very well positioned for 2014. The Mercedes board of governers are not happy, they demand results, and have sacked Haug, changed personnel, and have every intention of being at the sharp end.
And honestly, it was time for him to leave McLaren, their relationship was not the same as in the past.
If you listen carefully and read between the lines, just about everyone in Formula One believe that 2014 is a make-or-break year for Mercedes and they will have one very competitive car. Take heart, but patience is required.
