An apology to the Mods if posts like this are against forum rules. I've no probelm with it being removed if that's the case.

No rules against it, and since we've already allowed one thread about charity bids I see no reason this wouldn't be allowed.

No harm in a little bump to keep it near the top though.

Yes, we have a swear filter now. No, it doesn't change coffin to 'place of rest'.

Thank you so much to those who have donated.
Over £1k! can't believe it. It's going to be tough but worth it and the money going is up very motivating.

Almost to £2k mate, that is a brilliant contribution.

Hope you are not ina flooded area, or else you'd better buy a wee inflatable dingy. Looking forward to hearing how it goes on Friday!

Done it. Started at 11:30 - 28 miles later some blisters and 2 jellied legs, I got to my desk for 10:00. Knackered - absolutely knackered, can barely walk.

Amazing total of £2,354.25 raised. Thank-you SO much to those who donated. To give you an idea of how much this means, that contribution is nearly half of this charities usual yearly pot. It's used to buy equipment for the ward and take the kids out. I have blisters on my feet that will last a few days. As a reaction to the pre-chemo medicine, my nephew has had a mouthfull of ulcers so bad he has not been able to eat solid food for over a week. Puts things in perspective eh.
