Any My Bloody Valentine fans on the forum?

And more importantly, did anybody manage to get a copy of the new album?
The website has been down everytime I checked. This is torture!

Ha, I forgot I started this thread.

The night I started it they released their first record in 22 years. And it's absolutely brilliant.

Deadly! CD or vinyl?

I bought all the remasters that came out last year - Isn't Anything, Loveless and the EP collection. I guess because they were on CD and I mostly use disreputable headphones I couldn't hear any difference! I'm sure vinyl copies and a serious set of speakers would allow me to hear everything new that's going on.

Going to see them this Sunday in Manchester. I'm preparing my ears to be blown away.

Not a fan of My Bloody Valentine but definitely a big fan of My Dying Bride.

I was at the Manchester gig last night - unbelievable - never ever ever have I seen a band create such an atmosphere (and by that I mean no one moved for 2 hours (out of awe)).

Brilliant set - they're new album is even better live,

It was absolutely brilliant wasn't it!

I never ever thought they could do "wonder 2" live. I expected a few new tunes but not that one. 4 guitars, a bass and jungle beats on a loop with a hint of vocals in and around the haze - never saw anything like it.

I think I prefer the shorter "holocaust section" too. Last time I saw them it was about 15 mins long. Everyone's attention held for the 6 or 7 minute version they did on Sunday night.

Incredible gig.
