Watched the first quarter, seemed ok but after a quarter the amount of times play was stopped seemed unbelievably high, it was my first time watching though and I have no idea of the rules so I presume that it's normal in the sport.

Stayed up for it, got home at 5, in work now. Feeling awful.

Amazing game though. I ended up making money from my bets. Last quarter was spectacular. Plus we had 108yard kick returns and plenty of scoring. Great game, but regret it a little.

Pity powercut wasn't during Beyonce, that would have been so very amusing.

what a great game!

49ners looked down and out, but came back for a thrilling finale!

not normally a fan of american football, but always enjoy watching the superbowl! (normally a drunken affair!)

Me and a few pals stick a couple of bets on, have a few drinks and generally have ourselves a great time. I find even a couple of quid on the result can make you far more interested. I put £10 on this year, which is my own limit. Any more and I'd regret losing it, £10 is small enough not be worth the extra enjoyment. And, like you say, a few drinks generally makes most things a bit more exciting.

I wanted the Ravens to win, but I thought that the 49ers might actually pull it off for a bit. If they had overcome 22 points (over 3 TDs with single point conversions) that would have been astounding. The light's going out really did seem to make the game, an odd improvement but really seemed to work.

Game was quite interesting, but I fell asleep during halftime break and didn't wake up for rest of game :(

My husband, being American, asked me to record it for him on my PVR, which I did as it was starting at 10am our time. When we got home after work he asked me to copy it to his USB memory stick &, for some reason, no matter what I did, it didn't work. Finally I told him he should just watch it on our big flat screen TV that is hooked up to the PVR & that I would do something else while he did so. For whatever reason he decided that he wanted to watch it on his computer (bloody males 8O  ) & we ended up having a rather heated discussion about it. Needless to say, he ended up not watching the game &, instead, found out who had won by reading the news on his computer. God, you can't please some people :D

I was visiting friends out-of-state this weekend. We watched the game and enjoyed the halftime show. Once it became clear that the power outage was going to take more than a moment to fix, I was invited out to the hot tub, so I missed most of the 49ers comeback. Caught the end of the game and was happy enough, even though I don't like the Ravens (previous owner screwed over the fans in Cleveland). Wasn't wowed by any of the commercials I saw, but the game was worth watching and the snacks and the company made the evening lots of fun.
