Not unexpected, but sad news. Sir Christopher Lee passed away aged 93.

He was a great actor and had an amazingly diverse and full life which should be celebrated.

Some tributes to him here http://live.independent.co.uk/Event/Chr ... heme=21009

Wah? I didn't even know he was in hospital. Damn.

R.I.P Sir Christoper Lee. The world has lost a true icon. :-((

I was starting to think he was actually undead. RIP. A great actor and pretty much the only good thing about The Man with the Golden Gun.

Indeed. On the plus side, he probably had a pretty damned entertaining life. Movie star, rock star and also a bloody war hero.

I don't know that much of his work, but Saruman and Dracula are two pretty damned iconic roles I feel.

So a good innings is 93, especially when serving in the military and special forces for 6 years during the war.
