What an amazing talent. Coach is one of my favorite shows of all time, first because Craig T. Nelson is one my favorite actors of all time (tis why the Incredibles is the best Pixar movie of all time), also because Jerry's role in the show, which by the way also co-starred Bill Fagerbakke as the pea-brained assistant coach Dobber who is the ingenious voice of Patrick on Spongebob.

This is truly a sad loss. R.I.P. Jerry, thank you for all the laughs and fun moments you provided my family.

Also passing away this month: Former MLB Umpire Doug Harvey who spent 31 seasons calling 4673 games in which included 5 World Series, 9 NL Championship series and 6 All-Star games. Harvey was inducted into Cooperstown in 2010. He was also a spokesperson about the dangers of Chewing Tobacco in 1997 when he was diagnosed with oral cancer.

In 1978, Harvey was embroiled in a controversial incident during a game between the Dodgers and the Cardinals. Harvey called out an ejection of Dodgers pitcher Don Sutton who was accused of defacing the balls. It would have carried out a 10-game suspension. But Chub Feeney never imposed the suspension claiming that Sutton was innocent.

Harvey was 87.

Active Colts LB Edwin Jackson was killed when he and an Uber driver were struck by an SUV truck on the shoulder of the I-70 expressway during Super Bowl Sunday. The 54-year-old Uber driver Jeffrey Monroe became ill while driving Jackson that he had to pull over into the shoulder. But moments later, the vehicle was struck by the truck, killing them on the scene.

They also learned that the suspect who was intoxicated at the time of the crash was an illegal immigrant from Guatemala who was deported twice. After the drunk driver fled the scene, he was captured a few moments later charging him with driving without a license and possessing a false identification.

The death has become political as the US are trying to curb the immigration process.

Jackson was 26.
