I got my mate to join the forum yesterday, but he couldn't post as his account wasn't activated yet. He did send me his picks on facebook and i said i'd put them up if he couldn't post in time for the GP.

Is there any way in this case he can forgo the penalty (I forgot the paractice was overnight), as you can see they are not particularly relevant to the practice session, and i can vouch for him (I obviously want to beat him, but i'd like to do it on a level playing field!)

His id is Spamjet, he'll add his own picks soon, but here they are in short hand which he sent me on facebook yesterday...

I'm happy to accept that if other members are fine with that, it's unfortunate you forgetting to do his picks for him

Aye, if it helps, he still can't flipping post, and doesn't have an email from Planetf1 for him to activate his account.

It's not as though this competition is for a money prize, or that his picks are any good based on the practice times :), would be a shame to penalise him when he posted his picks to me beforehand.

No of course not but there still has to be set rules, I think some of us take it quite seriously? :)

Like I said it's an unusual circumstance and I personally don't have a problem

Yes that was my thinking as well, thanks for the input from yourself and HulkStrong who have more experience in running the competition than me.

Cheers for putting in the hard yards running this pokerman. Hopefully I can improve on last year... Or at least not get worst :s

Why on earth do I have button in there? That's madness! Looks like my expectations for red bull might have been a little high as well.

Relax, with the help of a couple of collisions, engine blow ups and a streaker, you'll be kicking yourself for not putting Button higher up :-P

Not bad at all. If Bottas had started and Raikkkonen and Grosjean hadn't retired though....still I suppose the Toro Rossos retiring helped me out.

123. Normally, that would be pretty woeful, but I guess we'll be looking at a pretty low scoring round...

2 Rosberg 25
3 Vettel 25
4 Ricciardo 15
5 Raikkonen 0
6 Bottas 0
7 Magnussen 0
8 Massa 10
9 Button 0
10 Kvyat 0

100 exactly. Five 0's for goodness sakes. We should have a dunce prize for most 0's over the season, I would have a chance at that.

Remember you amended your picks, you scored 105

25 + 25 + 0 + 15 + 15 + 0 + 0 + 10 + 0 + 0 = 90

I think this is the first time ever I have scored less than 100 points.

98 points... What a mess! I knew I was in deep trouble from the moment the cars lined up on the grid without Bottas, but it just got worse from there 8O

On the plus side, I almost picked up 25 points for Button by default :-P

Thanks for the update. Not surprised to see Chuck Norris near the top, he just let the others beat him because he wanted to. LOL.

Seriously, great pics by sevenfest and the top performerss considering the wacky race we saw.
