Slightly against my better judgment, I'm making a last-minute change to better align with my gut feeling:

2017 MONACO GRAND PRIX
Revised Prediction
1. Sebastian Vettel
2. Lewis Hamilton
3. Daniel Ricciardo
4. Valtteri Bottas
5. Max Verstappen
6. Kimi Raikkonen
7. Sergio Perez

I just somehow feel this'll be Vettel's weekend. :o

Yeah I forgot too. Thursday and working night shift caught me out, days mean nothing to me right now. I'm going to hold off and take the extra 3 points after fp2, in for a penny, in for a pound

Toro Rosso seems to be competitive around here, and I don't have both of their drivers. Is it worth taking 18 points penalty and include them :?

Well, my late predictions were not on purpose, but more due to this year I forgot that Monaco has Thursday it´s FP-s.
And since it did occur, I thought why not to put more detailed attention to the FP results as well - and also discovered what an astonishing pace they had...

But that may not translate into Qualy or when it does, it may end in the wall instead ;)

Yes, if the Toro Rosso (and Mercedes!) pace is real, a lot of people are in for low scores this weekend...

On the plus side, if they're actually up in 4th or 5th you won't lose that many points by not having put them at the back.

A brave move! I wish I could say that mine was tactical and not simply a result of 11 hour days and not seeing the sun for over a week

Tossing up for 10 between ocon and Massa. I'll put my faith in the force India car more than anything else at this point though.

Only two days late with my predictions... I doubt the little bit of extra data is enough to counter the 18 points missed but we'll have to wait and see.

Taking a tactical penalty. My hope is that the points I gain by putting the likes of Kvyat and Magnussen in the top 10, as well as revising the order at the front a little, will offset the 25 points lost by changing my predictions. My expectation is that my original predictions end up closer to the correct result!

You like to live dangerously, I perceive. It takes a bold man to predict that both McLarens will finish the race.

There's method to my madness I promise :D .

Firstly I think the car is pretty good anyway, secondly the Honda improvements to driveability and gearshifts paid off in S3 in Spain and should do here as well, thirdly both JB and Stoff are pretty handy around here and lastly the issue that Stoff has with late breaking affecting his cornering/exit speed shouldn't be an issue around here I don't think, I was tempted to swap him and JB over even, I really think this could go very well for him if he has a clean weekend.

I did initially put JB and Stoff in but then panicked and put Sainz instead of Stoff lol but I think i'd be more mad if I didn't stick to my guns about Stoff and he scored than I will be if I end up with egg on my face by leaving them in.

They'l both need clean FP's though, JB especially.

Bloody penalties and Stoff overcooking it a touch. :x

Though he looked much more like it though, such a shame he probably didn't even need another quick run but hindsight is easy.

7. Carlos Sainz
8. Danil Kvyat
9. Sergio Perez
10. Felipe Massa

@Pokerman, please take a note on the amended entries.

I think before amendments 143 and after its 145 -18 = 127, so it's a net loss.

Perez brain fade on ending laps cost me 18 I think.

Taking a tactical penalty. My hope is that the points I gain by putting the likes of Kvyat and Magnussen in the top 10, as well as revising the order at the front a little, will offset the 25 points lost by changing my predictions. My expectation is that my original predictions end up closer to the correct result!

If we give points for were the drivers will start in the race:-

1st Pick: 130 points
2nd Pick: 138-25 = 113 points. 8O

186 -25 = 161 8O that's really tactical from Jenson's understeer.
Would be interested to know the score for his initial picks.

Round 6: Monte Carlo, Monaco

The start saw poleman Raikkonen lead away from Vettel and Bottas, however this all changed after the pitstops when Vettel used the overcut to get past Raikkonen and similarly Ricciardo used the overcut to get past Bottas for third place and this is how the order finished at the chequered flag.

Of note was an incident between Wehrlein and Button with Button hitting Wehrlein's rear wheel flipping his car on it's side and wedging it against the barrier which brought out the SC but all the drivers had basically done their final pitstops at that stage so it didn't change the running order.

I have to say I do not think these penalties are high enough. I'd be interested to hear what others think, and of course you Pokerman as gamesmaster...

Wow... very happy for my 1st ever podium.

I had the Pick10 competition on my mind on the closing stages of the race, when something weird happen...
I was just thinking "Common Kyat(I didnt pick him), bin it in the walls somewhere... I need Massa(who was running 11th at the time) to get in the points" and within 10 seconds or so, the TV fottage was showing that Kyat had stopped.
