Pokerman will do the needful.

He'll calculate the race results as well as assemble the overall standings.

He's splendid & quite efficient at running this competition.

Yes sorry, I'm ready to go just waiting for my partner in crime to work his magic with the presentation, results will be up later today.

151 for me I think. If only Hulkenberg had got past Ocon by the end for 10th!
From last year I reckon 150 per race will be close to a winning average.

Yes same for me with Hulkenberg, that's a decent start for you tim, avoiding bad rounds is as important as having stellar rounds.

I kind of felt it that Ricciardo would suffer some misfortune which is why I put him 7th, and initially thought about leaving him out and picking a random DNF'er out of the top 4 teams for a good few races into this new season... but I`ll probably stop jinksing the race for them

Not terrible - I suppose it wasn't likely to go as well as last year, after all!

Ricciardo's car issues might have cost me the win, though. If he'd finished behind Verstappen, knocking everyone else down a place, I'd have scored 201 points. If this year goes anything like last, those are points I can't afford to give away to Covalent so quickly.

Yes and had he finished in front of Verstappen like I predicted (and in the process knocking back everyone behind him) I would have scored 211 points
His retirement (and quali crash at that) is just something no one could have foreseen.

Clearly, what I needed was for him to have his qualifying issues and then none on race day. Is that too much to ask? ;)

Although considering how cursed Australians seem to be at their home GP, maybe predicting him to DNF wouldn't have been as far fetched as all that!

Guys! I entered my picks in he wrong thread over here viewtopic.php?f=7&t=14076

I did it on Wednesday though, you can see the time stamp. Can you please include them without penalties? Thanks! Thought I was in the right thread because the point values are the same. These were my picks

No problem you made exactly the same mistake last year as well.

lol that's hilarious! Makes me feel better that I wasn't the only one who did that

No you did exactly the same thing last year as well but realised much later when you didn't see your name on the leaderboard.

So yet again I make a slow start to the season whilst the champions of the past 2 seasons stand 2 and 3 on the leaderboard.

If Vettel keeps winning it might not be so good for me, being a dogmatic Hamilton fan it's hard not to be picking him to win all the time.

It usually hasn't for me. Last year I won the first round and finished 3rd ( :x ) and in 2015 I was 40-something in the first round and finished 4th. Consistency over the season is far more important than performance in the first round, imo.

Yes, I noticed that last year - while Rosberg was winning you were typically nowhere, but at the end of the year when Hamilton was winning everything you definitely started to come back!

Luckily, while I'm a die-hard McLaren fan, I'm not crazy enough to try putting them at the top!

That would be Spa last year when he had to take all those engine penalties and he started from the back of the grid. :)

If Vettel keeps winning it might not be so good for me, being a dogmatic Hamilton fan it's hard not to be picking him to win all the time.

That would be Spa last year when he had to take all those engine penalties and he started from the back of the grid. :)
