I'm not sure this merits a thread of it's own, but few people have picked up on this.

Max makes this comment after taking the lead on the first lap of the race and SKY were mentioning it quite a lot and saying how he has a good grasp of the English language etc etc...

It's actually a reference to a particular series of videos that are going viral at the minute and the content of which is graphic to say the least (some are very funny!).

I think a lot of the Red Bull team were in on the joke with even Christian Horner appeared to stifle a smirk when the SKY team mentioned it to them in an interview.

It's perhaps not in great taste... but I couldn't believe it when I heard it! My wife even spat her wine out!!

Anyway "be seeing you"

A link to one of the videos then no I can't I'm afraid as I'm fairly certain it would not be accepted on this forum. I can try to find the interview in question... but it was mentioned lots after the race!

As I say this is lost on most and isn't a "big story" I just found it very funny!

I followed a van in the West Mids several weeks ago with some of these slogans written on the back of it in the dirt!

Every time I think of this, I'm in work and can't research.

Can someone provide an example of the actual content on the videos?

In short its a mixture of content narrated by a man who I think is from the north of England. There are some stand out phrases which he uses in most of the videos; "simply simply lovely", "plenty in the tank sir", " a bit of blinding" to name a few. Usually starts with "Hope you've had a good week and earned a few quid" whilst usually finishes some unfortunate videos with "be seeing you"

Content is often graphic adult content of the physical kind - you can probably guess what blinding may refer to!

Some can make you wince or laugh while some other may make you want to vomit ha ha!

I can't actually believe how widespread it's become. I wasn't even aware until one of the lads on our group Whatsapp thread started posting them!!

I can share some if anyone wants any... but be warned!!

... and don't judge me.

So apparently the narrator is from Rotherham... I'm from Sheffield so I should have pegged his accent really!!
