McLaren had better concentrate on the here and now, rather than 30-years down the road. If they don't, McLaren won't be around by 2050 (if not well before then).

Wild guess here but I don't think the people making the McLaren 2050 video are the same ones who are building their 2019 car.

Exactly, when it looks like something from a bad sci-fi movie, it probably wasn't designed by an engineer. This is a purely marketing exercise to get McLaren column inches.
